Starting training with Ali was the best decision. The main reasons I love training with Ali:

  1. Ali is always present during your session. She focuses on you. Your progress. Your form. Your current state of being, both emotionally and physically. She isn't on her phone, talking to others at the gym, or daydreaming. She is truly present.

  2. Ali knows the body and knows how to build up toward your goals. She focuses on functional movements, variety, and teaching you the right way while explaining why. This leads to faster progress and builds confidence.

  3. Ali is super humble, understanding, and flexible, all while holding you accountable. I try not to miss, but if something comes up or I need to delay she doesn't judge me but encourages me to get back in sooner than later.

Overall I think Ali is the best. I've tried other trainers and have never built a bond or felt so comfortable. I look forward to my sessions and have built a habit of incorporating physical activity back into my life.

We love working with Alison. She is knowledgeable about body mechanics. Tell he where you are sore and she shows you exercises that resolve the discomfort. I've been working with Ali for several months now. She is very goal oriented and doesn't pull any punches. When we first started, she listened and provided honest feedback about what my goals were and how we could achieve them. There is no easy path sometimes to achieve what we want for our bodies, and Ali is very honest about that.

She holds me accountable, which I personally appreciate, but also has a wonderful knack for putting things in perspective when I feel like I've totally fallen off the wagon. She is always positive and encouraging, while pushing me to strive for the next level. I feel very safe when I work out with Ali-she is very focused on form and technique. I've had several back surgeries, so I really appreciate that.

She is very knowledgeable about body mechanics, and I love that she tells me what muscles we are focusing on with each exercise. She has endless adaptations for different exercises if you have injuries or areas of pain. She has spent a lot of time and effort into building a program just for me, it's not just a one size fits all plan.

I have a family and work more than full time, so she also takes that into consideration and makes my fitness plan realistic and attainable. An added bonus from working out with Ali is that I've not only gained a true supporter in my fitness goals, but also a great friend!

"Ali's personalized approach to Training made all the difference for me. I wish I had known how much progress I could make with just once-weekly sessions (over a period of time)-- I would have done this for myself years ago!

Ali is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging, yet doable. I can always trust that she will never have me do something outside of my ability, and that she will adjust my workouts accordingly. She ensures my technique is always correct to get the most out of every exercise and to prevent injury. She is extremely knowledgeable and can answer all my questions and provide at-home nutrition and fitness advise. My fitness level has increased noticeably and I've seen improvements in my ability to complete more core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights, and generally push myself harder throughout each session. I was able to meet my initial fitness goals with her help, ending up losing over 10 pounds and 9.3% body fat (this was extremely noticeable!), and greatly increasing my aerobic endurance.
With just a little determination, hard work, and help from Ali, each fitness test has shown drastic measureable change, which was so encouraging. I am really looking forward to further progress in the future.

The additional gifts Ali has given me are: increased confidence in my ability to make changes in my life and to my body, a positive shift in perspective, and tools to grow. She really helped me realize my potential and how to achieve my goals with the amount of work I, as an individual, am able to put in.
